Your contract is with maison mk s.a.r.l., a limited liability company registered in Morocco. Please read our terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them.


Price
Room rates shown on our website are per room, per night and include all taxes. All prices shown are applicable at the time of booking, are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to change without any prior notice.


Availability
All rooms and rates offered by the Hotel are subject to availability and the discretion of the Hotel manager.

Bookings
30% deposit payable at the time of booking. The balance (70%) payable 14 days before arrival. Late bookings (within 1 month), 100% payable.
For whole riad bookings, 50% deposit is taken and the balance of 50% is taken one month prior to arrival. Payment is by major credit or debit card, or by bank transfer.


Arrival and departure
Bedrooms are usually available from 2pm local time on the day of arrival. Check out is by 11 am local time. There may be occasions, at times of high demand, when our Clients can check in and use all the hotel facilities, but the bedroom is still being prepared.

Cancellations, amendments and non-arrivals
Client cancellation : Once made, bookings are not refundable. Therefore (i) cancelling a booking, (ii) not arriving for a booked stay or (iii) the hotel's denial of check-in to a person not accompanied by the person named in the booking will not result in a refund.
The cancellation policy is in line with the bookings policy. Cancellation more than 14 days before arrival, 30% charged. Less than 14 days before arrival, 100% charged.(For whole riad bookings, cancellation more than 1 month before arrival, 50% charged. Less than 1 month before arrival, 100% charged.)

Hotel cancellation : In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. If this does arise you can 1) accept the changed arrangements as notified, 2) make an alternative arrangement with us or 3) cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any monies paid.

Insurance
The client is recommended to have and is responsible for insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.

Behaviour
The Hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of Clients, guests or representatives, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by the Hotel. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the Hotel may terminate the booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.

Damage
We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage done to your room during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave.

Smoking
maison mk operates a NO SMOKING policy within all interior areas of the hotel including guest bedrooms, public areas and corridors.
For resident guests who do not comply with our NO SMOKING policy, a charge will be added to their bill to include the cost of cleaning all soft furnishing to remove the odour of tobacco.
A smoking area has been allocated on the roof terrace of the hotel - please enquire upon check in.
We appreciate your co-operation with this No Smoking Policy.

Children
Children over 12 are welcomed on the understanding that parents accept full responsibility for their safety and for any damage that is caused. Children under 12 are welcomed if part of a whole riad booking.

Dogs and Other Pets
Pets are not accepted, with the exception of guide dogs.

Discrimination
It is the policy of the hotel not to discriminate on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, creed, sex, marital status, age, ethnic origin or disability. Clients, their employees, guests and all sub-contractors engaged by or on behalf of the Client are expected to adhere to this policy and the Hotel may, without incurring any liability to the Client, remove from the Hotel any person or persons offending against this policy.

External purchases
No wines, spirits, beers or food may be brought into the Hotel by Clients, their guests or representatives for consumption or sale on the premises without the express written consent of the Hotel and for which a charge may be made by the Hotel.

Trade Marks
The material on the maison mk website is the copyright of maison mk sarl and Christopher Paul Hopkins. The material may not be re-produced, published, distributed, amended, downloaded or otherwise used unless you have obtained permission in writing from maison mk s.a.r.l.

Privacy Policy and Data Protection
We take our customers' privacy very seriously. We do not sell information about our customers to others. We share customer information only as described below.

Information Gathering and Disclosure Practices
When you first book with us you will be registered as a customer. We will retain all personal information you provide. We may need to pass this information on to other persons and it may also need to be provided to security and/or credit checking companies, credit card companies, government agencies and public authorities if so required or as required by law. This may involve sending your personal data between different countries, including countries outside the European Union where controls on data protection may not be as strong as the legal requirements in the UK.

Registration
Our website's registration form requests users to give us security information and unique identifiers (such as your e-mail address). This information is used to contact customers when necessary and to send you information about our company. We respect your right to choose whether you want to receive information, and we provide users with the facility to opt out of receiving future mailings.

Liability
Other than for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Hotel, the Hotel's liability to the Client is limited to the price of the booking.
Unless the Hotel is liable under the above clause, the Client indemnifies the Hotel from and against any and all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from the booking, event or function, the Client, guests or any outside contractors of the Client.
The Hotel does not accept any liability for services rendered by third parties to Clients notwithstanding that such services may be arranged by The Hotel. Any claim, demand, charge, suit or damages which may be incurred by the Clients or their guest (or any person claiming thereunder) shall be made directly with such third parties and The Hotel shall render all reasonable assistance in this regard. We arrange a variety of activities on behalf of clients with 3rd party providers. maison mk sources, where possible, high quality companies to provide those services but we are unable to take responsibility for any liabilities that arise from failures in performance or any other obligations not undertaken by these 3rd party providers.
The Hotel will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond its reasonable control.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act, omission, default or neglect of the Clients, their guests or sub-contractors to the hotel's property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to guest's credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage, to the registered address. We will however make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
